Neerigen Brook Primary School is excited to be celebrating 50 years of success.

Monday 16th November
9:00am – NAIDOC Opening Ceremony
Classroom Activity – Pebble Painting. Students will be given the opportunity to paint individual pebbles in celebration of our 50th Anniversary for a pebble pathway that will be installed in 2021.
Tuesday 17th November
Classroom Activity – Connecting and Belonging Day. Students will be writing letters to themselves that we will be storing and making available to them at our 60th Anniversary in 10 years.
Wednesday 18th November
9:00am NAIDOC Sports Award. Our year 4, 5 and 6 students have nominated themselves to be part of our Neerigen Brook Football Team and will be having workshops throughout the weeks leading up to our 50th celebration. Our NBPS Football game will be taking place on the oval and is a whole school event. Parents are welcome to attending, please be mindful of social distancing.
Classroom Activity – Students have been researching what sort of games children played in the 70’s when Neerigen Brook PS opened. Students will be having a go at playing some of these games today in a classroom environment.
Thursday 19th November
5:00pm – 8:00pm – Twilight in the Brook
Neerigen Brook Primary school invite our families, community and past students to come and celebrate 50 years of success. Live music, food stalls, history display and room tours are some of the exciting activities planned for our evening event.
